A lifelong crafter and a quilter since 2013, Jennifer is passionate about social change and using the power of art to reach across cultural and geographic boundaries. She joined the board of the Love Quilt Project in 2016, soon after she became aware of the organization and the unique way it uses love and compassion to support and encourage orphaned and vulnerable children.

She brings skills in communication, public relations, and social marketing—a field in which marketing and communication tools are used to effect sustainable behavior change in target populations—to the Love Quilt Project. Her background includes directing projects for numerous Federal government and other clients on an array of health-related issues with a focus that includes cancer, sickle cell disease, veteran health, HIV / AIDS, preventing youth tobacco and drug use, health literacy, and drug trials.

She is delighted and honored to help the Love Quilt Project expand its reach among youth-serving organizations and quilters in the United States, and to increase the number of quilt recipients in South Africa, as well as in the United States.
