Jeanne Phillips | Board Member

Jeanne began her volunteer activities with the Love Quilt Project as she was retiring from her position as Chief Human Resources Officer for a large healthcare company. During the COVID pandemic she and her quilt-making friends produced over 50 quilts and 500 masks for the South African group homes.

 After obtaining her Master’s Degree in Public Administration/Healthcare, Jeanne worked in Human Resources in the healthcare field and with the Air Force and Navy operational units. Along with her husband, a member of the U.S. Navy Civil Engineer Corps, and her three sons, she moved around the globe for over 30 years.

 Jeanne has a passion for children facing challenges and is working with the Love Quilt board on outreach programs for foster children in care in the U.S. as well as in South Africa.
