Kevin went to South Africa on the initial mission trip with St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in 2011 and saw first-hand the opportunity to have a great impact by helping vulnerable children in need. Kevin has been the Treasurer since the Love Quilt Project’s founding. He returned to South Africa for a second mission trip and quilt delivery in 2018 and hopes to return again for one of the upcoming trips.

Kevin has put his Civil Engineering degree from the University of Connecticut to good use by designing and constructing major transportation projects throughout the Northeast and mid-Atlantic states over his 35-year career. Most recently he’s served as the Concessionaire’s Representative for the delivery of the 29-mile long 95 Express Lanes Project and as Project Director for the 395 Express Lanes Project, both in northern Virginia.

Kevin is happily married to the Love Quilt Project President and splits his time between their home in Bucks County, Pennsylvania and his work in northern Virginia. Kevin and Gretchen have three grown children spread around the country making their own positive impacts on the world.
