Administrative Support Representative

We are in search of an Administrative Support Representative to help with administrative tasks for The Love Quilt Project. This paid position is for 10-15 hours per week for someone with good organizational and tech savvy skills. Candidates must live near Arlington, VA but can work partially from home. Here’s the job description:

Job Description
·  Administrative Support Representative for 10-15 hours per week with flexible days/hours, but generally split between two days, approximately half in the office of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church (4250 N. Glebe Road, Arlington VA 22207) and half at home.

·  Tech-savvy person familiar with using outlook-type software applications, including a customer relationship management (CRM) tool, excel, google docs, graphics, word

·  Training will be provided on the CRM tool

·  Administrative skills such as organization and ability to accomplish wide variety of tasks both technical, using applications above, and physical. Examples of tasks required:

  • Responding to volunteers and answering inquiries in our CRM

  • Packaging and mailing quilt materials and art squares

  • Receiving and processing completed quilts and art squares, preparing quilt kits

  • Receiving and responding to business mail

  • Ensuring office supplies are replenished

  • Ensuring quilt kits and art square materials are replenished and available

  • Organizing/neatening office space

  • Tracking work accomplished for reporting to board

·  Self-starter with ability to work with supervision or independently with tasks that vary from week-to-week, month-to-month depending on LQP Board efforts and the result of social media and other campaigns.

·  Pay rate = $20 per hour
